Let me start by saying the Fitbit Versa 4 has been my workout buddy for the past month, and it's been quite a journey. The battery life? Absolutely insane! I went a full 6 days without charging, even with daily workouts and sleep tracking. No more mid-run panic when your watch dies.
The fitness features are where this watch shines. The built-in GPS accurately tracked my trail runs (no more carrying my phone!), and I'm obsessed with the Active Zone Minutes feature. It actually motivates me to push harder when I see I haven't hit my target heart rate zones.
Sleep tracking is another win - way more detailed than my old smartwatch. Waking up to see my Sleep Score has become a weirdly satisfying morning ritual. Though fair warning, seeing how little deep sleep you get can be depressing!
Now for the not-so-great parts: The band feels cheap (I replaced mine immediately), and syncing was a nightmare until I figured out the app needed updating. Notifications are hit or miss - texts come through fine but emails are unreliable.
The biggest letdown? You can't initiate calls, only answer them. For this price, that feels like a miss. Also, while Alexa works... when it wants to, the voice recognition isn't as smooth as on Echo devices.
Final verdict? If you're serious about fitness tracking and can live with some smartwatch limitations, the Versa 4 delivers where it counts. Just budget extra for a better band!
