Let me start by saying the SAMSUNG Galaxy A16 5G is a solid mid-range phone that punches above its weight class. The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate is absolutely gorgeous for the price - watching videos feels premium, and colors pop beautifully.
The battery life has been phenomenal in my testing. With moderate use (social media, some gaming, YouTube), I easily get through a full day and still have juice left. The 5000mAh capacity is no joke, though the included "25W charger" seems to be a scam based on multiple user reports (including my own tests showing slower charging than a basic 10W adapter).
Performance-wise, it handles everyday tasks smoothly. I've noticed slight lag when pulling down notifications with two fingers or switching between multiple apps, but nothing deal-breaking. The camera setup delivers decent shots in good lighting - the 50MP main sensor captures nice detail, though low-light performance is just okay.
A major pain point for some users appears to be WiFi calling compatibility issues with certain carriers (like PureTalk USA). If this feature is crucial for you, definitely verify compatibility before purchasing.
The blue-black color looks sleek and professional, and the phone feels comfortable in hand despite the large screen size. One UI isn't as clean as stock Android (coming from Pixel phones), but it's customizable enough to make it work.
Bottom line: For the price, you're getting great battery life, a beautiful display, and decent performance - just don't expect flagship speed or rely on the included charger being truly 25W.
