Let me start by saying this resin is a mixed bag. The transparent green looks stunning in the bottle, and I was excited to test its 8K/10K compatibility. The square bottle design is genius - fits perfectly on my crowded shelf unlike those round ones that keep rolling away!
The Good:
- Prints come out with insane detail - I printed some miniature D&D terrain and the texture on brickwork was crisp
- Low odor is no joke - my workshop didn't smell like a chemical plant after printing
- The viscosity is just right - pours smoothly without being watery
- Bottle design gets an A+ - the seal breaker actually works (unlike some brands where you need scissors)
The Not-So-Good:
- This stuff cures HARD. Like, 'dropped a dice and it exploded on impact' hard
- Supports are brutal to remove - I broke two delicate pieces trying to get them off
- Post-cure yellowing happens fast - my clear green turned olive drab after just 5 minutes curing
- Price point is higher than standard resins (but cheaper than specialty engineering resins)
Pro Tip: If you're printing functional parts that need durability, this resin shines. But for delicate miniatures or flexible pieces, you might want something with more give. My Halot One handled it fine at standard settings (4s exposure), though dialing it in took a couple test prints.
The included nitrile gloves were a nice touch, though I wish they'd included filters too. Overall? Solid resin for high-detail rigid prints, but handle your cured pieces like fragile glass!
