Let me tell you, this SUNLU resin is like printing with liquid glass! I've run about 20 bottles through my Elegoo Mars 3, and that crystal-clear transparency isn't just marketing fluff. When I printed a dragon skull last week, you could actually see light refracting through the teeth - insane detail retention.
The low odor claim holds up too. Unlike some resins that make my workshop smell like a chemical plant, this one lets me print in my basement without gasping for air. But PSA: still wear your mask and gloves people - 'less stinky' doesn't mean 'safe to huff'.
Now about those failed prints... Out of maybe 50 attempts, I've had maybe 3 failures? And those were definitely my fault (forgot to relevel after moving the printer). The viscosity is perfect - pours like maple syrup at room temp. Pro tip: if it ever gets thick, just sit the bottle in warm water for 10 mins.
Yellowing resistance? Legit. My oldest print (a D&D mini from 6 months ago) sits in sunlight daily and still looks fresh off the build plate. Though I will say - their 'clear' does have a very slight blue tint when cured that makes it pop under display lights.
The only real con? Dialing in settings takes work. This isn't a 'slap it in and go' resin. My sweet spot ended up being 2.5s exposure (Mars 3) with extra slow lift speeds. But once calibrated? Oh man, the details on miniature chainmail are crisp enough to count individual rings.
At around $30/kg, this stuff punches way above its weight class. Just bought three more bottles during their last sale because when you find a resin that makes your printer sing, you stock up!
