Let me start by saying this duck-shaped soap dispenser is ADORABLE. The blue color pops in my kitchen, and guests always comment on it. The touchless sensor works impressively well—I rarely have to wave my hand twice to get soap. It dispenses a perfect dollop of foamy soap in about 0.25 seconds, which feels almost magical.
The rechargeable battery is a game-changer. After a full charge (using the included USB-C cable), it lasts me about 2-3 months with daily use by 2 people. When it's running low, the dispenser beeps twice as a warning—super helpful! I just plug it in overnight, and it's ready by morning.
Now for the not-so-great parts: The foaming mechanism can be finicky. You MUST use pre-diluted foam soap solution (regular liquid soap will clog it). Also, don't fill it past the rounded neck—I learned this the hard way when soap overflowed everywhere during refill.
Durability seems to be a lottery. Some units (like my sister's) stopped working after just 3 months, while mine is going strong at 8 months. The sensor appears to be the weak point—moisture might seep into the circuitry over time. One clever reviewer suggested taking apart the head to air-dry the components if this happens.
Despite these quirks, I'd buy it again purely for how much joy it brings. My niece now begs to wash her hands because of 'the ducky,' and that alone makes it worth the $32 price tag for me—just don't expect industrial-grade longevity from this cute bathroom companion.
