Let me start by saying the Lenovo Tab M11 surprised me. For a budget tablet, it punches way above its weight class. The MediaTek Helio G88 processor handles everyday tasks like a champ - streaming, browsing, and even light productivity work are smooth as butter.
The 11" display is where this tablet really shines. Watching Netflix in bed has become my new guilty pleasure - the 1920x1200 resolution makes colors pop, and the ambient light sensor automatically adjusts brightness so I don't wake my partner. Speaking of bedtime use, the speakers get surprisingly loud while remaining clear at lower volumes.
As someone who takes notes constantly, I was skeptical about the included pen. But after using it for lecture notes and grocery lists for two weeks, I'm impressed by how responsive it is. The palm rejection works perfectly - no accidental marks when my hand rests on the screen.
Battery life deserves special mention. I consistently get 9-10 hours of mixed use (reading comics, YouTube, some note-taking). However, be warned - charging while using intensive apps can be frustratingly slow. My pro tip? Charge it overnight or when you're not using it.
The bloatware situation is annoying but fixable. Out of the box, there's way too much junk pre-installed. After an hour of uninstalling random games and trial apps (why Lenovo?!), performance noticeably improved.
For students or casual users wanting an affordable Android tablet that doesn't feel cheap, this is a fantastic option. Just don't expect iPad-level performance for heavy creative work - stick to basic photo edits and note-taking.
