Let's talk about these adult diapers – because when you need them, you REALLY need them to work. I've been using these for my elderly father, and here's the honest truth.
The good stuff first: The absorbency is decent for light to moderate needs. They held up overnight without leaks for us, which was a huge relief (literally). The quilted fabric feels softer than some other brands we've tried, and the odor control actually works – no embarrassing smells during changes.
Now the not-so-great: Those refastenable tabs? They're hit or miss. About 1 in 5 diapers had tabs that either stuck together or didn't adhere well. When they work, the fit is secure and adjustable (great for those in-between sizes), but when they don't... well, let's just say it gets messy.
The sizing runs true to their chart – we got the XL and they fit my dad's 60" waist comfortably without being too bulky under clothes. The elastic gathers do help prevent leaks around the legs.
Would I buy again? Yes, but with caution. At this price point, they're good for daytime use or when you can check frequently. For heavy incontinence or unsupervised overnight use, I'd probably splurge on a more premium brand.
