Let me start by saying these mixing cups are a lifesaver for resin and epoxy projects. The clear markings in ounces, milliliters, and ratios (up to 8:1:1) make precise measurements a breeze. My wife uses them for flood pours, and the measurements are spot-on for her 1:2 ratio mixes.
The transparency is excellent - you can clearly see your mixture without any guesswork. They're also solvent-resistant, which means no worrying about chemicals eating through the plastic mid-project. The included lids (when you get them!) are a nice touch for keeping paint or resin fresh between uses.
Now for the not-so-great parts: The plastic feels thinner than expected. I've had a few crack when stacking them or applying slight pressure during mixing. The measurement markings could definitely be darker - in dim lighting, they're hard to read.
A major warning: Don't store these in extreme temperatures! Several users reported cups becoming brittle and fusing together when stored in garages. I lost about 5 cups this way - they literally cracked apart when trying to separate them.
While marketed as reusable, I'd treat these as semi-disposable. They work great for one or two projects but don't expect them to last forever. For the price though, they're decent value if you need lots of mixing containers.
Pro tip: Order more than you think you'll need since some may arrive damaged or become unusable over time. And if lids are important to you, double-check how many come with your order!
