As someone who's used these JOR veggie clips in multiple tanks for months, I can say they're a game-changer for feeding time...when they work properly. The transparent design really does disappear against the glass, and I love being able to rotate the clips to position veggies at different angles.
The suction cups hold surprisingly well on clean glass - even my plecos can't knock them loose when they go into feeding frenzies. I use them daily to clip zucchini slices for my bottom feeders and they've held up better than more expensive brands I've tried.
However, about 30% of the clips have failed me. Either the suction cups start curling after a few weeks (especially in warmer water), or the plastic hinge snaps when adjusting thicker veggies like kale stems. One arrived broken right out of the package.
They're fantastic for creating natural grazing areas when they work - my shrimp especially love nibbling on clipped almond leaves. But I wouldn't trust them as automatic feeders as some suggest - they're just not reliable enough long-term.
At this price point, they're worth trying but buy extra because you'll likely need replacements sooner than expected. When shopping around, consider if you'd rather pay more for something sturdier or treat these as semi-disposable accessories.
