Let me start by saying this Door Handle Alarm is LOUD. Like, wake-the-dead, scare-the-neighbors loud. The 120db alarm is no joke – it definitely delivers on its promise to frighten intruders (and probably your family members too).

The installation couldn't be simpler. Just clip it onto any metal surface like a door handle or drawer pull. I tested it on my bedroom door and bathroom cabinet – both worked instantly when touched. The ABS material feels durable enough for daily use.

Now for the not-so-great parts... The battery compartment is frustratingly finicky. Like other reviewers mentioned, getting the 9V battery to fit properly feels like solving a puzzle. Half the time I had to disassemble the unit just to remove the battery.

The sensitivity is another issue. While great for security, it sometimes goes off when you don't want it to (like when my cat brushed against the door). Some units seem more temperamental than others based on reviews.

Would I recommend it? With reservations. It works as advertised when everything aligns perfectly – but quality control seems inconsistent. If you get a good unit, it's fantastic for $15-20 security solution. Just be prepared for some trial and error with setup.
