Let me start by saying this mount is a GAME-CHANGER for hands-free filming. I've used it both as a head strap and backpack clip during a weekend hiking trip, and the flexibility is unreal. The 360° rotation let me switch between horizontal and vertical shots effortlessly—perfect for capturing trail vistas and my clumsy river crossings.
The backpack clip is where this truly shines. That adjustable buckle with three grip levels? Genius. It clamped securely onto my thick hiking pack strap without slipping, even during some aggressive rock scrambling. The non-slip silicone pads kept my GoPro Hero 9 stable when I needed it most.
Now, the head strap... it works, but with caveats. While the elastic nylon feels comfortable (and the velcro adjustment fits my giant melon), the weight distribution had me constantly readjusting during runs. Best saved for stationary activities or short bursts.
Compatibility gets an A+—worked flawlessly with my GoPro and my buddy's DJI OSMO. That multi-surface grip means I've clipped it to kayak life jackets, bike handlebars (don't tell the manufacturer), and even a cowboy hat brim during a hilarious rodeo attempt.
Minor gripes? The helmet attachment requires patience (and possibly an extra set of hands), and backpack positioning limits filming angles unless you're documenting your own chest. But at this price point? Absolute steal for adventurers who want one mount that does it all.
