Okay, so I got this WITFORMS air deflector for my window AC unit. Let me break it down for y'all.
First off - installation was a STRUGGLE. The clips that hold it in place? Total nightmare to attach. I nearly gave up twice before finally getting it secured. And get this - no instructions in the box! Had to figure it out through trial and error (mostly error).
Once installed though? It actually works pretty well! The transparent wings don't block my remote signal (huge plus) and being able to adjust the airflow direction is game-changing. My room's temperature is way more even now.
But here's the thing - for what you get, the price feels steep. Like, $30 for some plastic flaps? Come on now. And cleaning them is easy enough, but taking them apart feels like I might break something every time.
Final verdict: If you're patient (and maybe watch some YouTube tutorials first), it does improve your AC's performance. But they really need to work on that clip design and include some damn instructions!
