Just got my hands on the G1 Android TV Box and wow, this thing is a game-changer for my living room setup. The 4K HDR streaming is buttery smooth, and the Wi-Fi 6 keeps buffering at bay—even when my whole family is hogging the bandwidth.
The Google Assistant integration is slick too. I can literally yell at my TV to play shows or dim the lights (which my cat finds VERY confusing). Plus, 32GB storage means I’ve downloaded way too many apps I’ll probably never use—but hey, options!
Only gripe? Hulu’s being a diva on Android TV (apparently a known issue). But Netflix, Disney+, and even niche apps work flawlessly. For the price, it’s a no-brainer upgrade from my old Fire Stick.
Pro tip: The Dolby Vision makes nature docs look insane. My walls are now jealous of my TV screen.
