Okay, so I've been using this Fanlide power strip for about a month now, and here's my honest take.
The Good: First off, the 4 USB ports are legit! They charge my phone and tablet crazy fast. The auto-detect feature actually works - my devices charge at max speed without any fiddling. The 6.5ft cord is perfect for my dorm setup where outlets are in weird places.
The Okay: The universal sockets are... well, universal-ish. My US plugs fit fine, but my European friend had issues (more on that later). The child safety doors are stiff at first but loosen up over time.
The Bad: Major bummer - the European socket springs seem to wear out fast according to some reviews (and my friend's experience). Also, the spacing could be better - trying to fit 4 UK plugs is like playing Tetris with electricity.
Final Verdict: If you're in the US and need USB charging, this is solid. For international plugs or heavy use, maybe look elsewhere. It's good but not perfect!
