First off, I love that these come in a pack of three – pastel pink, purple, and white. They add a cute pop of color to my workspace and make my Apple Pencil feel more personal.
The silicone material is soft but not too squishy, giving just the right amount of grip. I used to get sweaty hands during long Procreate sessions, but these sleeves actually help with that. The texture keeps the pencil from sliding around.
Installation was tricky at first – you have to slowly wiggle them on. But once they're on, they stay put without being too tight. The 0.35mm thickness is perfect because the pencil still magnetically attaches to my iPad (though charging does require removing them, which is slightly annoying).
One downside: The double-tap feature becomes harder to use since the grip covers part of the pencil. For artists who rely on this function frequently, that might be a dealbreaker.
After two months of use, I noticed the white one started peeling slightly at the edges from frequent swapping. But at this price point for three sleeves, I'm not complaining.
They work great with third-party styluses too! My friend tried them on her Digiroot pencil and they fit perfectly.
Final verdict: If you want affordable, colorful grips that improve comfort without adding bulk (and don't mind removing them to charge), these are worth trying. Just don't expect full functionality with all Apple Pencil features.
