Okay, so I finally tried the Hey Grill Hey Beef Rub, and holy smokes (literally), this stuff is LEGIT.
First off, the flavor is insane. I used it on brisket last weekend, and my neighbors literally followed the smoke trail to my backyard. That NBBQA award wasn’t lying – it’s got this perfect salty-sweet-spicy thing going on that makes everything taste like a pro cooked it.
What’s wild is how versatile it is. Last night I got lazy and sprinkled it on roasted Brussels sprouts (don’t judge) and they disappeared faster than my kid’s Halloween candy. Burgers? Next level. Chicken? Absolutely.
The size is perfect – that 11.7 oz container lasts forever because you don’t need much. And big props for no weird fillers or sugar (why do so many rubs taste like they mixed spices with pixie sticks?).
Only downside? Now my other seasonings are giving me side-eye from the spice rack because they know they’ve been replaced as my grill go-to.
