Let me start by saying these gloves are a game-changer for anyone working with electricity, whether you're a seasoned electrician or a weekend DIY warrior like myself. The rubber insulation gives me peace of mind when handling live wires during home projects.
The fit is surprisingly good - I have larger hands and was worried they wouldn't fit comfortably, but they mold nicely to your fingers. What really impressed me was how breathable they are. After wearing them for a couple hours while rewiring some outlets, my hands stayed dry and comfortable.
The touchscreen feature is hit or miss. While I could text and answer calls just fine, swiping didn't work at all. Not a dealbreaker since you can always pull one glove off quickly if needed.
One thing to note - these gloves do have a strong rubber smell when new. The manufacturer warns about this upfront though, and airing them out for a day helps significantly.
The included voltage tester screwdriver (or sometimes electrical tape) is a nice bonus, though I wouldn't rely on the tester for serious work. The gloves themselves feel well-made with excellent grip - perfect for pulling wires or handling tools securely.
While I haven't (and don't plan to) test their full 400V rating, they've protected me from minor shocks during my projects. For the price, they offer great value and an extra layer of safety that's worth every penny.
