First off, these sunglasses are *not* for the faint-hearted. The oversized round pilot frames make a serious style statement—I felt like I stepped straight out of a retro fashion shoot when I put them on. The gradient lenses give just enough tint to be functional without making me look like I'm hiding behind blackout curtains.
The metal rims have a satisfying weight to them—not heavy enough to annoy me, but substantial enough to scream 'quality.' And yes, they *do* look expensive. I’ve gotten multiple compliments, and one friend even asked if they were designer (spoiler: they’re not).
Comfort? Surprisingly great. The spring hinges adjust easily, and after a while, I forgot I was wearing them—until I caught my reflection and grinned at how cool they looked. That said, if you have a petite face, proceed with caution. These are *big*. Like, 'might overwhelm your features' big. But hey, confidence is key—I made it work!
Minor gripes: One lens had a tiny scratch out of the box (annoying but not deal-breaking), and the arms are *slightly* too wide for my taste—they stay put but feel like they’re flirting with slippage. Still, for the price? 10/10 would buy again (maybe in another color).
