Okay, so I got these TPU waterproof patient care pants for my dad who's bedridden. Here's the real deal after using them for a couple weeks.
First off, the cotton fabric is actually super soft! Dad hasn't complained about any irritation, which is huge because his skin gets sensitive easily. The breathability seems legit - no weird sweatiness even after wearing all day.
The adjustable waistband? Lifesaver! Dad fluctuates in weight and these actually fit him comfortably whether he's bloated or not. Way better than those one-size-fits-all nightmares.
Now the leak-proof claim... mixed bag here. During daytime when we change regularly, they work great. But overnight? Had a couple small leaks when he was really saturated. Not catastrophic, but not 100% perfect either.
Washing them has been fine so far - no shrinking or weird texture changes after three washes. The color did fade a bit though (got the blue ones).
Biggest win? The side leakage protection is actually good. No embarrassing accidents during transfers from bed to chair.
Would I buy again? Yeah, but only if they're on sale. They're decent but not miracle workers.
