Okay, so I finally got around to installing these rubber seals on my Honda Civic and here's the real tea ☕
First impression? The material feels surprisingly high quality for the price. It's got that nice rubbery flexibility without being flimsy. The adhesive backing is STRONG - like 'I-stuck-my-finger-to-it-accidentally-and-now-I'm-part-of-the-product' strong.
The L-shape design is genius though! Fits perfectly in the door frame crevices where wind noise usually comes through. After installation, I noticed about 60% reduction in highway wind noise (my partner says it's more like 40% but they're wrong 😆).
Installation was stupid easy - just peel and stick. Took me about 15 minutes per door while binge-watching The Office. Pro tip: clean your door edges with alcohol first for better adhesion.
Downside? It is a bit thinner than OEM seals, but doubling up layers works fine if needed. Also not magic - won't completely eliminate all road noise (unless you're coming from a Jeep Wrangler apparently 😂).
Final verdict: For under $20, this is a solid upgrade that makes my commute noticeably quieter. Would buy again!
