Let me start by saying this set is a solid intro to essential oils. The variety (peppermint, lavender, eucalyptus, etc.) means you're covered for everything from relaxation to freshening up a room. The organic certification and purity claims? Totally legit - no weird synthetic aftertaste when I used them in my diffuser.
The standouts? Peppermint is like inhaling a candy cane - so strong it cleared my sinuses instantly. Orange oil smells like someone juiced a perfect Florida orange right into the bottle. And lavender? Classic, soothing, exactly what you'd expect.
Now the not-so-great: Eucalyptus, tea tree and rosemary all smell suspiciously similar - like your grandma's medicine cabinet. Major bummer since I was hoping for that crisp eucalyptus spa vibe. Also, the bottles are drippy - you'll always get 2-3 drops when you want just one.
Pro tip: Store them upright! Mine leaked when left sideways in their cute box (which arrived slightly oil-stained, FYI). They work great in diffusers (lemongrass = instant kitchen refresh), but scent longevity varies - peppermint fills a room fast while the "medicinal" ones are more subtle.
Bottom line: Worth it for the good scents (4/8 are winners), but don't expect botanical accuracy from all oils. Great starter set if you're new to essential oils though!
