Okay, so I've been using these X-ray protective glasses for a few weeks now, and here's the real tea ☕.
First off, they're surprisingly lightweight for lead glasses! I was expecting some heavy-duty torture device, but these are actually comfy. The rubber nose pads? Genius. No more sliding down my face mid-procedure.
The wrap-around design is legit - no sneaky radiation creeping in from the sides. Though heads up for my small-headed folks: these run large. I had to use the included strap (which is a lifesaver btw).
Visibility is crisp through those Schott lenses - way better than my old pair that made everything look like I was in a foggy London alley.
Now the not-so-great: After 8+ hours, my ears do protest a bit. And yeah, they'll fog up if you're breathing heavily (no panicking during surgeries pls). Dropped them once - survived but wouldn't recommend testing their durability.
Final verdict? For the price, these are solid workhorses. Not perfect, but they get the job done while making me look like a cool science villain 😎.
