Let me start by saying this workbook itself is actually pretty solid. The practice problems are well-structured and mirror what my kid would see on the actual IAR test. We used it for nightly drills, and I noticed her confidence with word problems improving after just two weeks.
BUT - and this is a big but - the online component is a total mess. The first time we tried accessing the full-length assessments, we spent 20 minutes just figuring out where the 'start test' button was hidden. When we finally began, the site crashed midway through, wiping out all her progress. Talk about frustration!
Here's how we made it work: We completely skipped the digital tests and just used the physical book. The answer key in the back became our best friend for checking work. For timing practice, we used our phone's timer with sections from the book.
Final verdict? If you can get this cheap (I paid $12) and ignore the online portal, it's decent supplemental practice. But if you're counting on those digital assessments, look elsewhere - that part's broken beyond repair.
