Okay, so I've been using the Bioaid Hemoglobin Test Kit for about a month now, and here's the tea ☕️
First off - LOVE how fast it works! Like seriously, within a minute I get my hemoglobin and hematocrit results. The display is super clear too - big numbers that even my grandma could read without her glasses.
The kit comes with EVERYTHING - 25 strips, lancets, and tubes. Plus batteries are included (bless 🙌). The soft case is actually decent quality too - keeps everything organized.
BUT... there's a learning curve. The first time I tried using it, I totally messed up with the capillary tubes (RIP to one that broke). After watching some YouTube tutorials though, I got the hang of it.
Accuracy seems pretty good? When I compared it to my doctor's results, it was only off by 0.1 which is 👌 in my book. Though I did see one review where someone got very different results - maybe user error?
For me as someone who needs to monitor hemoglobin regularly, this has been a game changer. No more waiting weeks between doctor visits to check my levels!
Would recommend if you're comfortable with medical devices (it's similar to a glucometer). Maybe not the best choice if you're squeamish about blood though 🩸
