Let me start by saying this prop definitely delivers on the creepy factor. I hung it from my oak tree, and the way the black bag sways in the wind had trick-or-treaters giving my yard a wide berth. The 5ft size is perfect - not too big to be unrealistic, but large enough to be visible from the street.
The setup was... an adventure. Like other reviewers mentioned, the included pump is practically useless. I ended up blowing it up manually (pro tip: take deep breaths between inflations). Once inflated though, the body shape looked surprisingly realistic through the semi-transparent bag - especially when I wrapped the silver tape at key joints as instructed.
Durability is where things get tricky. Mine stayed inflated for about 36 hours before needing a top-up. Not ideal, but manageable if you're only using it for Halloween night. The PE material does feel sturdy though - survived some rough handling when my dog mistook it for a giant chew toy.
Where this prop really shines is in photos. We staged a 'crime scene' with the barrier tape and got incredible reaction shots from guests. The way the limbs bulge through the plastic bag creates an authentically disturbing silhouette when backlit by orange Halloween lights.
Final verdict? If you want maximum spook with minimal effort, this might frustrate you. But if you don't mind some DIY spirit (pun intended) and occasional reinflation, it's a memorable addition that'll have neighbors talking - possibly to local authorities!
