Okay, so I grabbed these Pxton walkie talkies as a cheap alternative to our usual $350+ work radios. Honestly? I was ready to toss 'em if they sucked. But surprise—they’re legit!
First off, the range is solid. In our massive warehouse (500,000 sq ft!), the reception stayed clear. Not NASA-level crisp, but totally usable for yelling at coworkers about misplaced pallets.
Battery life? Killer. Lasted a full 8-hour shift with constant chatter. The USB charging is clutch—no hunting for proprietary docks. And hey, if one gets dunked in coffee or "borrowed" forever, who cares? At this price, just grab another pair.
The included earpiece is... fine. We ditched it for speaker mode (less tangled drama). Teens at my cousin’s cornhole tournament went feral over them though—apparently pressing buttons never gets old.
Downsides: The belt clips require a PhD in tiny screws, and half-mile range drops in cities (but c’mon, they’re $30). For road trips or light work use? 10/10 would static-crackle again.
