As a huge Demon Slayer fan, I was thrilled to unbox this Zenitsu figure. The moment I held it, the weight and texture immediately stood out – it doesn't feel like cheap plastic at all. The 5" size is perfect for my crowded anime shelf, standing out just enough without dominating space.
What really impressed me was the articulation. I spent a good hour recreating Zenitsu's signature Thunder Breathing poses (yes, even his sleeping position). The joints hold surprisingly well – no floppy limbs here! Though I did notice the arms need careful handling when swapping accessories.
The Nichirin sword accessory is beautifully detailed, though I wish it could sheath properly like one reviewer mentioned. The alternate hands are great for different displays – my favorite is the panicked expression paired with his defensive stance hands.
After two months of display (and occasional play), here's my take: The paint hasn't chipped despite frequent pose changes, but the haori does pop off during dramatic poses. Not a dealbreaker though – just adds to the authentic 'Zenitsu falling apart' vibe!
For fellow collectors: This isn't a fragile statue but an actual posable figure. At this price point, it delivers way more fun than premium static figures while maintaining good quality. Just maybe keep it away from younger siblings – those delicate joints might not survive rough play.
