Okay, so I've been using the Jabra Elite 5 for about a month now, and here's the tea ☕️.
First off - COMFORT. These things are like little clouds for your ears (if you have smaller ears, that is). My AirPods Pro used to make my ears ache after an hour, but these? I forget they're even in sometimes.
The ANC is legit. Like 'wait-did-my-AC-just-turn-off?' good. HearThrough mode works surprisingly well when you need to hear announcements or chat with coworkers without removing them.
Sound quality? Chef's kiss 👨🍳💋. The bass doesn't rattle your skull but it's crisp and balanced. Used the Sound+ app to tweak the EQ and now my workout playlist hits different.
Battery life is solid - get about 6 hours with ANC on. Case adds another 21 hours which means I only charge every 3-4 days (and I use these A LOT).
Now the quirks: The touch controls take some getting used to (accidentally paused my podcast like 10 times the first day). Also wish they came in more colors - titanium black is sleek but boring.
Verdict? If you want premium features without the Apple tax, these are a steal - especially if you find them on sale. Just don't expect them to be life-changing if you're coming from higher-end models.
