Let me start by saying this: if you're a Rocky fan, Creed II is a must-watch. The steelbook edition with 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and digital is the perfect way to experience it. The visuals are crisp, especially during those intense training montages in Ukraine and the desert - they pop in 4K!
The storyline bringing together Apollo's son and Drago's son is genius. I found myself emotionally invested in both characters' journeys. Dolph Lundgren's return as Ivan Drago was everything I hoped for - that scene where his ex-wife enters the room and Viktor refuses to stand? Pure gold.
While some complain it lacks the original Rocky charm (true, we miss Adrian and Mickey), it brings its own flavor. The father-son dynamics hit hard - especially Ivan's realization about what truly matters. Florian Munteanu as Viktor? Perfect casting (and yes, he might be the most beautiful man I've ever seen on screen).
The Atmos sound could be better - only really shines during the final fight. But when it does? You'll feel every punch. Is it groundbreaking cinema? No. But it delivers exactly what fans want: heart, grit, and that underdog spirit we love.
