Okay, so I finally upgraded from my sad little $15 binder to this Rayson SD-220B and WOW what a difference!
The dual-handle system is genius - punch with right hand while the left keeps the comb open. No more awkward finger yoga trying to do both at once. My office productivity just leveled up.
That metal construction? Solid AF. This thing weighs like a small dumbbell but means business. Punched through 20 sheets of 80gsm paper like it was butter (though one German reviewer said max is closer to 15 - YMMV).
BUT...it's not perfect. The hole spacing gets weird with 11" paper (extra notches appear) and thick Braille volumes might still need your old machine. Also the comb doesn't open as wide as I'd like.
Pro tip: That little waste tray is fragile - mine arrived broken but customer service sent a replacement super fast. Extra star for that!
Final verdict? Worth the extra $15 over cheaper models. Just know its limits before binding your magnum opus.
