Okay, so my little speed demon (aka my 3-year-old) is OBSESSED with this book. Like 'read it 5 times before breakfast' obsessed. The illustrations are bright and chunky - perfect for tiny hands that want to point at every single car.
Pro tip: This is the MVP of bedtime stories. Short enough that you won't fall asleep mid-sentence (we've all been there), but still tells the whole Lightning McQueen story. Though PSA - they do say 'McQueen' about a million times? I've started doing dramatic voices to keep myself entertained.
Paper pages mean it's not indestructible, but the hardcover survives diaper bag adventures. Way better than another plastic toy! Also makes a killer birthday gift - way cuter than a card that gets tossed anyway.
Only downside? At $10 it's pricey for what's basically a fancy pamphlet. But watching my kid 'vroom vroom' through the pages? Priceless.
