Okay, so I just finished this book and WOW. Just... WOW. I need to scream into a pillow first because my emotions are all over the place!
First things first - Liam? SWOON. This boy ruined all real-life men for me. The way he sneaks into Amber's room to protect her from nightmares? I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying.
The story starts heavy - like really heavy. Amber's childhood trauma had me clutching my blanket at 3AM. But the way Kirsty Moseley balances darkness with humor is genius. One minute I'm sobbing, next minute I'm snort-laughing at their banter.
Speaking of banter - Day Liam vs Night Liam? ICONIC. That boy has more layers than my winter outfit. Playboy by day, protective cinnamon roll by night? Sign me up!
The POV switch halfway through was *chef's kiss*. Getting inside Liam's head made me fall even harder (if that's possible). That virginity scene from his perspective? SWEETEST THING EVER.
Only complaint? The mean girls were cartoonish villains straight from a 90s teen movie. Like we get it, they're not nice - no need to make them caricatures.
Final verdict: This book wrecked me in the best way possible. 10/10 would recommend (but keep tissues handy). Now excuse me while I go reread all the Liam scenes for the fifth time...
