Okay, so I've been using this USB portable 5G router for about a month now, and I have some THOUGHTS.
The good stuff first: It's seriously tiny and lightweight (that ABS material is no joke). I can literally slip it into my jeans pocket when traveling. The plug-and-play setup was surprisingly easy - just popped in my SIM card and connected to power. Being able to share internet with up to 10 devices has been a lifesaver during family trips.
But... (and this is a big but) the power situation is WEIRD. Like other reviewers mentioned, it absolutely needs to stay plugged in to work - no battery here folks. And I had one scary moment where it wouldn't connect even when powered until I did a hard reset.
The speed? Actually decent when it works! Getting around 250-280Mbps in good coverage areas. The WPA2 encryption gives me peace of mind when using public WiFi spots too.
Just be warned about returns though - saw some nightmare stories about crazy shipping fees that made me decide to keep mine despite the quirks. Maybe stick with Amazon Prime for easier returns?
