After testing this futon for a month, I'm genuinely impressed by its adaptability. The 3-inch shredded memory foam initially felt thin when unboxed (it does take 48 hours to fully fluff up), but it's surprisingly supportive for floor sleeping. I've used it as a makeshift guest bed, yoga mat, and even dragged it to the backyard for stargazing – the polyester cover wipes clean easily.
The real MVP feature? Portability. At 14.7lbs, I can literally roll it up one-handed and stash it in my studio apartment's narrow closet (bye-bye bulky air mattress). When my niece stayed over, we layered it under her sleeping bag for extra cushioning – she called it her 'fluffy cloud floor' and refused to sleep in the actual bed.
Two caveats: Don't expect plush hotel mattress thickness (it's firmer than pictured), and there was a faint factory smell that disappeared after airing out for a day. For $100? Way better than those lumpy camping pads and more practical than my old fold-out sofa bed.
