Just finished 'Midnight Black' and wow, what a ride! Mark Greaney does it again with this explosive addition to the Gray Man series. Court Gentry is back, and he's as relentless as ever.
The action sequences are insane—non-stop from start to finish. I especially loved the prison break scene (no spoilers, but it had me on the edge of my seat). The way Greaney weaves multiple storylines together is masterful.
That said, the first half did drag a bit. Felt like some parts could've been trimmed without losing the essence. But once it picks up? Pure adrenaline. The last 20% is some of the best writing in the series.
Also, that ending?! Did NOT see that coming. Already counting down to the next book. If you're into spy thrillers with heart-pounding action, this is a must-read.
