If you're into street art or just love creating colorful masterpieces on sidewalks, the SoHo Urban Artist Jumbo Sidewalk Chalk Pastels are a game-changer. I’ve used these pastels for multiple projects, and they never disappoint. The colors are incredibly vibrant—think deep crimsons, brilliant yellows, and rich blacks—making your artwork pop even on rough concrete surfaces.
One of the standout features is their durability. Unlike cheaper brands that crumble or fade quickly, these pastels hold up surprisingly well. I drew a Labor Day mural that still had visible remnants by Halloween, even after rain and foot traffic! The pigments are so dense that blending is a breeze, and the colors stay true without turning muddy.
The size is a bit smaller than expected (2.7 inches long), but don’t let that fool you—they cover a lot of ground with minimal product. I did notice that the brighter colors run out faster (I wish there were more of those and fewer earth tones), but the quality justifies repurchasing. They’re pricier than Walmart chalk, but for detailed work or competitions, they’re worth every penny.
My only gripe? The individual wrappers feel unnecessary and create extra waste. That said, if you want professional-grade sidewalk chalk that lasts and turns heads, this set is a must-have. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just doodling with kids, these pastels deliver brilliance and endurance like no other.
