Okay, so I finally got my hands on this 'Vegan Bread Machine Cookbook' and here's the tea ☕️
First off, LOVE that it actually delivers on the plant-based promise. The recipes? Chef's kiss 👌 From basic sandwich loaves to fancy international breads (hello, vegan challah!), it's got range. The gluten-free section saved my celiac friend's baking life too.
But y'all... why does it claim '1500 days of baking' when there's only 35 recipes? That math ain't mathing 🤨 Feels kinda scammy ngl. Also, getting hit with a full-page ad for the paperback version IN THE EBOOK I PAID FOR? Not cute.
The photos look like they came from a stock site - my rosemary focaccia definitely didn't turn out that magazine-perfect on first try. Would kill for some real 'this is what mine looked like' pics from the author.
Still... 4/5 stars because when the recipes work (which is most of the time), they WORK. My non-vegan family couldn't tell the difference in the Italian herb loaf! Just wish it had more personal tips instead of feeling like a recipe dump sometimes.
