Let me start by saying this alarm is LOUD. Like, 'wake-up-the-neighborhood' loud. The 110dB siren is no joke—it’s comparable to a rock concert, and it definitely makes thieves think twice. I tested it on my e-bike, and even a slight nudge triggered the alarm, which is great for deterring opportunistic theft.
The 10-level sensitivity adjustment is a standout feature. I live in a windy area, and being able to dial down the sensitivity at night prevents false alarms. During the day, I crank it back up for maximum security. The wireless remote works smoothly from about 40 feet away, which is handy for quick arming/disarming.
Now, the not-so-great parts: installing the batteries was a struggle. The main unit’s battery compartment is stubborn—I had to pry it open with a screwdriver (carefully!). The remote’s battery hatch is even worse; it flew open violently when I finally got it loose. Also, while the adhesive mount works fine, I wish there was an option for screws or straps for a more permanent fix.
Despite these quirks, the alarm does its job well. It’s affordable, ear-splittingly effective, and versatile enough for cars, bikes, or even doors. Just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve with the settings and installation.
