Let me start by saying I was OBSESSED with this automatic soap dispenser when I first got it. The way it instantly spits out soap when my hand hovers near (seriously, 0.25 seconds is no joke) made me feel like I was living in the future. My kitchen counter has never looked sleeker with its frosted finish and clear window showing off my fancy lavender-scented soap.
The adjustable volume feature is a game-changer - I keep mine on the middle setting which gives just enough soap for a proper hand wash without wasting product. And can we talk about how satisfying it is to not have to touch a grimy pump after handling raw chicken? The IPX4 waterproof rating gives me peace of mind when it inevitably gets splashed near the sink.
But... (and this is a big but) mine stopped working after about 8 months. Like other reviewers, I tried new batteries, cleaning the sensor - nada. It's currently sitting on my counter as an expensive decoration while I debate whether to buy another one or switch brands. When it worked, it was perfect, but that reliability issue stings.
Would I recommend it? With reservations. If you get a good unit, you'll love it - just maybe don't expect it to last forever unless the manufacturer addresses these quality control issues.
