Okay, so I caved and bought these Geegoods fake lavender bundles after seeing them all over Pinterest. First impression? That electric purple color is WILD - way more vibrant than real lavender, but honestly? I'm kinda into it.
The stems took some serious fluffing to look decent. Like, I had to separate every single tiny branch by hand while watching Netflix. But once arranged in my window box? Total game changer for my sad winter porch situation.
UV resistance was my main concern since they're outside. They've only been up for a month but so far no fading - though that plastic shine is definitely noticeable if you get too close. Pro tip: I rubbed some dirt on mine to dull the shine and it helped a ton!
At $22 for 24 stems, this was way cheaper than buying real plants that would just die on me (RIP to all my previous attempts at container gardening). They look surprisingly good mixed with some real greenery from further away.
Would I buy again? Yeah actually - they're perfect for when you want instant color without the maintenance. Just don't expect people to think they're real if they get within 5 feet of them!
