Okay, so I caved and got this artificial grass rug for my dog after seeing all the hype. And guess what? It’s actually amazing!

First off, my dog (a very picky golden retriever) LOVES it. He rolls around on it like it’s real grass—which is hilarious because he usually hates fake stuff. The texture is super soft but still durable enough for his zoomies.

The drainage holes are a lifesaver. We’ve had some rainy days, and it doesn’t turn into a soggy mess. Plus, when he does his business (we’re still working on potty training), it’s easy to rinse off. No lingering smells either!

I was worried about slipping since my floors are hardwood, but the rubber backing keeps it in place. It’s survived two weeks of my dog’s chaos (including some acorn bombardments from our oak tree) and still looks brand new.

Bonus: I threw it on my balcony for a mini “lawn” vibe, and now I want one for myself. Who knew fake grass could be this versatile?

Only gripe? It arrived with some creases, but they flattened out after a day in the sun. Totally worth it for how much my dog adores it.
