Okay, so I caved to the Instagram ads and got this 3D castle memo pad. Gotta say - it's adorable! The way the castle slowly reveals itself as you tear off pages is super satisfying. I may or may not have ripped through all the pages in like two days because I'm impatient...
The paper quality is actually really nice - thick and smooth to write on. Some pages even have cute little fairy tale character designs that make great mini artworks or bookmarks. My coworkers kept stealing them to decorate their desks!
BUT here's the tea: The marketing photos are kinda misleading. The papers aren't fully attached like they appear - there are already gaps cut between the design and the notepaper. And those bright yellow parts? Just printed on because there weren't any actual yellow sheets.
Also heads up - you gotta be careful tearing or you might rip the wrong part. And once you've revealed the castle... now what? It makes a cute pen holder but feels a bit anticlimactic after all that tearing.
Final verdict: Super fun as a temporary desk toy, but don't expect it to actually function well as a notepad long-term. Would make a cute gift though!
