I've been using the EPPO Mini Basketball Hoop with my 6-year-old for about a month now, and it's been a mixed bag of slam dunks and slight disappointments.
The spring-loaded rim is legit fun - it gives that satisfying sproing sound when you dunk, just like the big courts. My kid loves adjusting it to different angles (up to 60° like advertised) to practice different shots. The included balls have held up well against daily abuse from both kids and adults.
Installation was stupid easy - we hung it on his bedroom door in about 90 seconds. The shock-absorbing pads actually work; no door frame damage despite some wildly enthusiastic misses. It folds flat when not in use, which is great for small spaces.
Now the downside: that backboard. Other reviewers weren't kidding - it's thinner than I expected. When my husband (a very average-sized adult) got too into our 1-on-1 games, we noticed some worrisome flexing. It's held up so far, but I wouldn't trust it with aggressive teen or adult play.
Perfect for: Little kids who want NBA dreams during rainy days. The rim mechanism and easy setup make this worth it if your players are under 10. Just don't expect pro-grade materials at this price point.
