Okay, so I was skeptical at first because last year I used those flimsy paper wraps and let's just say...RIP my cherry tree. But these burlap wraps? Game changer!
The material feels surprisingly sturdy - like that one durable tote bag you've had for years but better. Each roll is long enough to wrap multiple trees (I did 3 young ones with one order). The width is perfect too - no awkward trimming needed.
Installation was stupid easy. Just spiraled it up like wrapping a mummy (but way less creepy). Pro tip from my neighbor: use some twine at the top to secure it. Held up through our crazy 13°F freeze last month!
Two things to note: 1) It does have that natural jute smell (kinda like grandpa's old shed) but it fades. 2) Not waterproof, so I paired it with a tarp 'umbrella' during snowstorms.
Bonus points for being eco-friendly! No plastic nonsense that'll outlive my great-grandkids. Just good ol' biodegradable protection that actually works.
Price-wise? Maybe $2 more than competitors but worth every penny when my trees survived winter looking fresher than me on Monday mornings.
