Okay, so I totally caved and bought this Flybar Pogo Ball after seeing my niece bounce around like a maniac on hers. At first I was like "Pfft, that's just a 90s throwback" but HOLY COW this thing is legit fun!
The quality surprised me - the deck feels super sturdy (even when my hyperactive nephew went full WWE on it) and the grip tape actually works. My 7-year-old wiped out exactly zero times, which is basically a miracle.
Pro tip: Start with less air! We pumped it to max at first and let's just say... there was some dramatic flailing before we figured out the sweet spot. Now the kids can bounce for what feels like HOURS (bless this energy-burning monster).
Only complaint? The handles make it too easy for kids to drag around the house when they're not using it. Found it in the bathroom twice this week. Why? Nobody knows.
Seriously though - if you're debating between another video game or this, go for the pogo ball. Watching kids faceplant while learning has never been more entertaining (for you) or educational (for them).
