Let me start by saying this crown is absolutely adorable for a Hungry Caterpillar themed party. The colors are vibrant and it looks exactly like the pictures online. My little one looked so cute wearing it during his cake smash photos!

However, I was shocked when I opened the package - glitter went EVERYWHERE. Like, my kitchen counter looked like a unicorn sneezed on it. The large chunky glitter falls off constantly, which made me nervous about it getting in my baby's eyes during the party.

The elastic strap worked surprisingly well though. It stayed perfectly in place on my wiggly one-year-old's head without being too tight. In all our photos, you can't even see the strap - it just looks like a magical floating crown!

If you're considering this for photos, I'd recommend putting it on right before pictures and taking it off immediately after. Maybe do a quick vacuum session first if you're worried about glitter everywhere (because trust me, there will be glitter everywhere).

Final verdict? Super cute for pictures but be prepared for the glitter apocalypse that comes with it.
