Okay, so I've been dealing with Verizon's terrible signal at our farm for FIVE YEARS. We even got a satellite phone ($$$), but then I found this booster and holy cow - now my iPhone actually works!
The installation was kinda tricky though. I temporarily set it up with the outside antenna on a tree (classy, I know) and it worked immediately with all 3 green LEDs lit. The app helped me find the cell tower direction which was super helpful.
About that 4,500 sq ft coverage claim... yeah, not quite. We're getting about 800 sq ft, but honestly? That's enough for our den where we hang out most of the time. Finally had a 30-minute call without constant drops!
Update: Finished the permanent install through an existing hole in our brick wall (thank you past-me for drilling that security camera hole). Mounted the antenna on the roof about 20 feet high pointing downward (shingles wouldn't let me point it up). Works even better now!
Pro tip: The orientation of the antenna doesn't seem to matter much - tried both ways and got similar results. Currently getting 3-4 bars consistently where we used to get zero. For rural folks like us, this thing is a game-changer.
