Just got the Claphin twin fitted sheet in black, and here's my honest take after a week of use.

The softness is legit – like sliding into a cloud. My sensitive skin approves, zero itchiness or scratchy threads. The cooling effect is noticeable too, perfect for hot sleepers.

Fit-wise, it stays put surprisingly well on my 12" mattress despite being designed for 15". The all-around elastic does its job without being overly tight.

Now the downsides: it's thinner than expected. Not flimsy exactly, but definitely not luxury hotel thickness. Also, the 'black' leans more charcoal gray – disappointing if you're matching other bedding.

The chemical smell others mentioned? Gone after one cold wash + low dryer cycle. No shrinkage or wrinkles so far.
