Okay, so I've been using this Belkin MagSafe charger for about 4 months now, and here's the tea ☕️:
First off – the GOOD: This thing is STURDY. Like, 'survive a minor earthquake' sturdy. My old charger felt like it would collapse if I breathed on it wrong. The magnets? STRONG. My iPhone 16 Pro with case snaps into place like it's coming home.
The charging speed? Chef's kiss 👌. Waking up to fully charged phone/watch/AirPods feels like magic... when it works (more on that later). The adjustable angle is perfect for StandBy mode – my nightstand finally looks like those aesthetic Instagram setups.
Now the BAD: About twice a month, I wake up to my phone at like 10%?? Like girl, you had ONE JOB. The magnets are connected, everything's aligned... but nope, decided to take the night off. Super frustrating when you rely on your phone for work.
Also PSA for light sleepers: My partner says it makes this faint buzzing noise (I can't hear it though – aging perks I guess?). And the watch charger could be better – my Apple Watch sometimes does this weird slow spin move instead of staying put.
Final verdict? Would I buy it again? Honestly... probably yes. When it works (which is most of the time), it's SO convenient having all my devices charge in one sleek station. Just maybe set a reminder to check your phone's charging status before bed those random nights it decides to be dramatic.
