Okay, so I finally got around to installing this Saranna stand for my mini-split AC unit, and wow—this thing is a BEAST.
The adjustable design is legit. My unit's a bit of an oddball size, but the 26-43 inch length range made it fit like a glove. No awkward gaps or overhang!
Durability? Check. The galvanized steel feels like it could survive a zombie apocalypse. I did the 'jump test' (don't judge) and it didn't even flinch with my 180lbs bouncing on it.
Installation was shockingly easy—just some basic wrench work. Though heads up: the instructions might as well be hieroglyphics. Good thing it's intuitive to assemble.
After three months outdoors through rain and blazing sun, the powder coating still looks fresh. No rust, no peeling—just a slightly dirtier shade of white.
The vibration pads actually work?! My unit used to sound like a washing machine full of sneakers, now it's library-quiet even at max cooling.
Only gripe? It's heavy AF to move solo. But hey, that weight means my $1,200 AC unit isn't going anywhere during the next hurricane!
